ASSIST. TECHNOLOGY FACILITATOR: CENTRAL OFFICE
TITLE: Assistive Technology Facilitator
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing services in the area of Assistive Technology to
individuals with disabilities.
Previous training and experience in assistive technology.
Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with educators
Excellent management and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with others and to work as part of a team
Ability to model and teach effective practices in the integration of assistive technology
into the K-12 curriculum.
Physical and mental stamina and ability to perform job functions, tasks and duties.
Ability to travel as required for job duties including overnight stays.
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Special Education
EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months
PAY FACTOR: Non-Applicable
JOB GOAL: To facilitate the effective and efficient use of Instructional Technology towards district goals.
